What his title means
A Creative Technical Director is responsible for the technique of the whole academy: what is taught, with which solutions and in what sequence. In the Korean industry this is not a stylist with a popular account but the person who trains other stylists' hands. MASSTIGE HAIR Academy teaches hairdressers perming and hair restoration and works with professional Korean brands, Beati among them. The day in Moscow runs on Beati solutions too.
What he does in Seoul
Hong Jihoon runs the MASSTIGE HAIR salon and leads seminars at the academy. The Korean format is a short seminar devoted to a single technique: the teacher carries out the procedure on a live model from diagnosis to styling and explains every decision, then the students repeat it. Over 30 years of practice he has written two books, "Hong Jihoon's Jewel Hairstyles" and "My Hair Color Style", and was the first in Korea to teach the Zone & Section system.
How he came to Moscow
Oksana Prisyazhnaya trained with him twice. In March 2026 she attended a group seminar on restorative Korean digital perm; her certificate No. 344 carries his signature. In August 2026 she came back for one-to-one training, where the digital perm was fine-tuned for Slavic hair and root volume and cold perm were covered. That was when he offered to come to Russia and teach a day himself. On 25 November 2026 Hong Jihoon works in Moscow for the first time.
What he will show on 25 November
The complete Korean digital perm procedure on a live model: hair diagnosis, a test strand, winding, working with Beati solutions, the machine, neutralising, aftercare and the result. He speaks Korean, with interpreting into Russian as he goes, and questions are welcome at any point. While he works on the model, participants repeat the winding on mannequins.
What not to expect from him
The Korean school teaches on Korean hair and says so openly. A teacher from Seoul has no ready-made recipe for Slavic hair, and he does not promise one. That is why the day has two teachers: the technique comes from Hong Jihoon, the adaptation from Oksana Prisyazhnaya, who uses this technique on clients of her Moscow studio.
