Korean perm masterclass programme: the day hour by hour
One day, from 10:00 to 18:00, ten participants and two teachers. The day is built the way Korean academies teach: one technique, a demonstration on a live model from diagnosis to the result, and hands-on work straight away: every participant has their own mannequin. Hong Jihoon leads the procedure and explains every decision, with interpreting from Korean as he goes. Oksana Prisyazhnaya adds what Seoul does not cover: how this technique behaves on Slavic hair.
Below is the hour-by-hour schedule and what you do in each block. A procedure on a live model takes as long as the hair needs, so the times are approximate.
What the programme does not contain
A ready-made recipe. The solution, the temperature within the 60-120 °C range and the timing are chosen for the hair and change during the procedure. How exactly to choose them, by which signs and in what sequence is the content of the course, and we do not publish it on the website. That is what the day is for.
What you need to know beforehand
Basic hairdressing skills: you work with hair and handle your tools with confidence. Experience with chemical perms helps but is not required. The teachers are introduced on the pages of Hong Jihoon and Oksana Prisyazhnaya; the price and deposit are in the terms of participation.
Hair diagnosis and a test strand: the signs the teacher uses to choose the solution and the timing
What you do: You watch how the teacher assesses the model's hair and note the signs behind each decision. Questions are asked on the spot, through the interpreter.

What you do: You watch how Beati solutions are applied on the model and how the processing time is monitored, and carry on winding on your mannequin. You note the signs that show the hair is ready for the next step.
Lunch
What you do: A break. A calm moment for the questions there was no time for in the morning.
The machine: temperature 60-120 °C, timing, checking the result
What you do: You go through the machine: how temperature and time are chosen and how the curl is checked during heating.
Adapting to Slavic hair: what Oksana changed after Seoul and why
What you do: With Oksana you compare the Korean pattern with how it works in her Moscow studio, and go through the cases in which the procedure should be declined.
The model's result, aftercare, questions and answers, handing out the solution kits
What you do: You assess the result on the model, write down aftercare advice for the client, ask the remaining questions and receive your Beati solutions kit for practice.
Practice on your own model in the studio or online, and a month of work reviews
What you do: Separately, on another day, you carry out the procedure on your own model one-to-one with Oksana, in the studio or online. For a month you send photos and videos of your work for review.
